Our Tranquility formula specializes in helping hyperactive, anxious, and stressed dogs and is tested and proven to bring tranquility while stabilizing your dog's emotional state in the safest possible way. The tranquility and vitality formulas are virtually the same—only the tranquility formula includes added beneficial calming herbs. These herbs are formulated just right for seeing improved mental states in dogs after regular feeding over only a few weeks.
This blend was designed not only for hyperactive dogs but also dogs that live in stressful environments like shelters and rescue groups. We know that some of these dogs are not of the best health and living in some of the most stressful situations. If you’re happy with the results of your dog after feeding them Tranquility, we suggest sticking with this formula as the main part of your dog’s diet.
Does the size of my dog matter? The answer is no. The formula is dependent on portion size. Following the feeding guide provided, your dog will be served the proper amount of added herbal benefits. These ingredients are completely safe and cannot cause any harm if fed in excess. In fact, many of the same herbs have other beneficial health properties as well (improved healing, for example).
Can my dog be fed the Tranquility formula even if they don’t have hyperactive tendencies?
The answer is yes! Some common reasons for switching from the Vitality formula to the Tranquility formula is when you might be boarding. Boarding your dog can create anxiety and stress. If you know ahead of time that you might consider boarding, it’s best to introduce the tranquility dog food two weeks in advance for best results. Another great reason for switching to Tranquility: for scheduled surgical operations with your dog. Switch to Tranquility formula in preparation! Our formula also has herbs that promote wound healing and may speed up recovery time. Both Vitality and Tranquility formulas can be fed interchangeably without worry.
We’ve also found dogs are becoming more sensitive to common dog food ingredients: including corn, wheat, beef, chicken, even some fish like salmon. We believe this is due to the manufacturing or growing practices behind these common ingredients, including monocropping and use of GMO’s. Protein industries have also expanded the use of antibiotics and growth hormones in products like beef, chicken, and fish especially when they go into dog food. Revive & Thrive never uses these types of ingredients in any of our products! This is why we have pride in using only organically farmed, wild harvested, and wild- caught ingredients.
CHELATED VITAMINS & LIPOSOMAL PROBITICS
All our formulas contain chelated vitamins and liposomal probiotics. A veterinarian-formulated nutritional supplement that targets skin health, hair health, and the general well-being of your dog. Chelated vitamins and minerals have been combined chemically with amino acids to form “complexes”. Proper proportions of Omega-3 and Omega-6 Fatty Acids, as well as chelated minerals, amino acids, and vitamins, target skin and coat problems and while sustaining overall canine health.
Chelated minerals are used for supporting normal growth while stabilizing and building strong muscles and bones, all while improving immune system function and overall health. Golden Link probiotics are lipid coated to ensure that live good bacteria get to the intestines where it stimulates the immune system and aids in canine digestion.
